this has got nothing to do with sims but i thought maybe sim folks might find it cute. azaya sent me a link to this game and we have been playing it avidly. it’s an in-browser side-scroller MMO. no download required, but it uses flash and requires an internet connection.
i like it a lot cuz unlike other mmos there’s no murdering, the whole thing is cutesy as heck and seems to be specifically geared to encourage niceness between players. furthermore, and this may not matter to other folks, but it means the world to me, the game is totally gender-neutral. you can style your character however you want but you are not required to pick a “male” or “female” character at the beginning like just about every other mmo on the planet. it’s really neat.
i’ve only been playing for a little while but so far i really like it, and i thought the little nod to sims (reticulating splines!) was cute as heck. not to mention the totally weird stuff they have you do like massage butterflies so you can milk them, or pet piggies to (consensually) nibble them, or squeeze grain out of chickens. it’s totally bizarre and precious and a fun time-filler while waiting for your sims game to load.
